Footwork Frenzy's second drop comes straight from Chicago, the home and heart of Footwork culture. With only 22 years of age, DJ Earl is one of the most up and coming producers of the windy city and has already caught attention with releases on Planet Mu, Moveltraxx, Booty Call, Ghettophiles, Lil Pitch and Freshmoon. On this release, Earl delivers another five dynamic 160bpm anthems which pay a conspicious tribute to the city's history of House music. Ranging from the mellow, soulful vibes on "I Feel It" to the dirty battle style attitude of "Mixedup Shyt", on which Earl once again teams up with track genius DJ Manny - 'Ambient EP' represents the current state of Footwork music on the highest level and proves once again why this young talent has been chosen to be part of the infamous Teklife collective asides the legendary DJ Rashad, DJ Spinn or Traxman.

Beauty and power combined. Nostalgic and forward-looking all at the same time. DJ Rashad's legacy through Machinedrum's imagination. All tracks are excellent; "Tha Flow" is also a stellar piece, closely after "The $$$." Balazs Bognar
